FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Can you produce a map or landscape of anywhere I want?​

 

That's the plan! Until you have made a specific request we obviously can't say for certain but our intention is to be able to produce a map or landscape picture of any place that is special to you. 

 

2. Where are your prints and frames made?​

 

Everything is lovingly drawn and produced in the South West of England. We take pride in working with the best local artisans and craftspeople (our Bristol framers for example) to ensure optimal quality at all times. 

3. How is your artwork packaged? Is it eco-friendly?

We do our very best to use packaging that is as eco-friendly as possible and have managed to make nearly all our packaging biodegradable. We use paper 'bubble wrap', paper tape, paper ribbon and cardboard boxes. When we need to use clear wallets to protect unframed prints, we ensure we use true 'cellophane' (derived from plant starch as opposed to petroleum) where we can. We have found that some sizes of wallet are not available in biodegradable cellophane, but we are trying to source all the sizes we need. 

 

3. How can I pay for prints?

To pay for an item on the website (excluding bespoke items) simply click the checkout button on the checkout page. You can then make payment from your Paypal account (if you have one) or straight from a credit or debit card, without signing up to Paypal. If you don't have a Paypal account then simply click 'pay with a debit or credit card' and you can submit your card details.

 

If you would rather arrange an alternative payment method or if you have placed an order for a bespoke item then please contact us and we can organise for payment via bank transfer or cheque.

 

4. Do you ship outside of the UK?

 

We do indeed! We will ship our artwork to anywhere you wish. When you proceed to the checkout you will be asked to select the country for delivery and it will let you know what the shipping costs will be. Please note that customers outside the UK will be responsible for paying any international duties or custom fees.

 

5. What's your returns policy?

 

If you don’t like it when it arrives, you can just send it back in its original packaging within 14 days, no quibble. Easy peasy. We will then refund your money minus any shipping costs. Unfortunately, this does not apply to bespoke items. We will however send you photos of any bespoke pictures so you get chance to suggest any tweaks before you pay for them and we post them off to you. 

 

6. What happens if my order is lost or damaged?

 

Let us know if your prints are damaged, or if you don't receive them and we will send you new ones.

 

7. How will my order be packaged?

 

Every order is personally packaged by us.  Unframed prints are packaged either flat or rolled and framed prints are securely wrapped in recycled paper wrapping and boxed to keep them in tip-top condition. 

 

8. Which delivery methods do you use?

 

All unframed prints and 8x8 framed prints are sent by second class mail (or airmail if outside the UK). Larger framed prints are sent by a tracked courier service (for both UK and international orders)

 

9. I live in the UK. When will I receive my order?

 

We aim to get non-bespoke orders to you within 3 working days. Please allow for a couple of days extra around Christmas time though. The only exceptions to this are A1 and A2 maps and the brushed aluminium maps which may take up to 10 working days (we can usually get it to you in around 5 or 6 though.) Do call or email us and let us know if you need an order to be delivered more quickly, and we will do our best to help.

 

For bespoke orders we will discuss delivery timescales with you when we chat about your requirements.

 

10. I don't live in the UK. When will I receive my order?

 

We aim to get any non-bespoke orders to you within 10 working days but A1 or A2 maps and the brushed aluminium maps may take up to 20 working days. Do call or email us and let us know if you need an order to be delivered more quickly, and we will do our best to help.

 

For bespoke orders we will discuss delivery timescales with you when we chat about your requirements.

 

11. Can my order be delivered to an address other than my billing address?

 

Yes. When placing an order you will be given an option of providing an alternative delivery address.
