Drawn on canvas over the course of two months in the summer of 2016, this drawing shows central London and Tower Bridge, following the sweep of the Thames eastward, past Canary Wharf and toward the Thames Barrier. In its balance of finely detailed and bold penwork, London: The View from the Shard, captures the spirit of this incredible, contradictory city.
